The term “quality through competence” originated in Austria over 100 years ago when the famous engineer Ferdinand Porsche, with the help of the automobile and aviation pioneer Hans Ritter Umlauff von Frankwell, developed the Austro-Daimler vehicle engine into an aircraft engine.

In 1980, his great-nephew, Ing.Peter Umlauff, took up this term and founded a wholesale company for car electrics and diesel injection technology at the headquarters in Leobersdorf near Vienna.

Today the greatly expanded range includes a large number of spare parts for agricultural and construction machinery, commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
